The Guide of 1th Gen Chevrolet Cruze Projector Headlights Installation
Today we are going to show you the bi-LED projector headlight installation guide for the Chevy Cruze. Before we get started, you’ll need a 10-millimeter socket and ratchet a panel popper or flathead screwdriver and a t15 Torx driver. Let’s start by opening the hood.
First, locate and remove these four plastic retainers, then locate and remove these two ten millimeter nuts, locate these three t15 Torx screws on the fender liner, remove the three t15 Torx screws. Then locate the eight Torx screws on the bottom of the front bumper, there should be four in the front and two on each side.
Next, remove the Torx screws indicated on the bottom of the bumper. Now we can unseat and remove the front bumper, disconnect the fog lights and any other wiring connected to the front bumper fascia. Then locate these four ten millimeter nuts to secure the headlight, remove the four ten millimeter nuts, now we can unseat the headlight.
Disconnect the wiring harness and remove the turn signal, now locate your headlight and reconnect the wiring harness and the turn signal light. Carefully feed the harness in taking care not to pinch the harness between the headlight in the body. Reinstall the four 10 millimeter nuts securing the headlight, be sure to reconnect the fog lights and any other wiring connected to the front bumper fascia.
Now go ahead and seat the front bumper, first reinstall the four plastic retainers up top, then reinstall the two 10 millimeter nuts securing the front bumper. Reinstall the eight t15 Torx screws on the bottom of the front bumper, remember they’re four in the front and two on each side. Then reinstall the three screws on the fender liner, then just close the hood and you’re done.
